The East African Community (EAC) and its eight Partner States, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda, is the fastest-growing region in Africa. This economic powerhouse of 320 million people stretches from Indian to Atlantic oceans and aims to deepen economic partnership with European Union.

Afrika-Verein together with the State of Hesse and the EAC, the East African Business Council (EABC), the GIZ and the German Chambers of Industry and Commerce, invite businesses from all eight Partner States and Germany to the German-East African Business and Investment Forum 2026 in Frankfurt on 27^th January 2026 (Register here for Frankfurt) and in Berlin on 29^th January 2026 (Register here for Berlin).

The Forum will focus on key sectors including Digital Markets & Artificial Intelligence, Tourism & Logistics, Health & Pharmaceuticals, Critical Raw Materials & Carbon Credits, and Agri-business & Trade.
