Africa Europe Week

The relations between Europe and Africa are changing at high speed. In the past, Europe tended to consider Africa as a continent of despair. Today, thousands of European companies do business and invest in the African continent. And the African relationship with Europe is also changing. African entrepreneurs are engaging in innovation which will also change the lives of millions of Europeans. Today, companies from all over the world come to Africa to do business from China, India, Malaysia, Israel, Brazil and many more countries. As the African continent develops, South-South relationships are intensifying in an impressive manner.

With the Afrika-Verein and further institutional partners and in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank Group and the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Maleki Corporate Group is organizing the first annual AFRICA EUROPE WEEK.

This year and in future years, the AFRICA EUROPE WEEK will bring together opinion leaders in African-European economic relations. Leading representatives from industry, finance, trade, and academia, will discuss current issues in economic relations and development at the highest level, creating manifold opportunities for debating and learning from one another.

One thing is certain, the face of Africa and its relationship to Europe is changing. We invite you to be part of the strategic re-thinking which is the exciting new frontier “Africa”.

Please join us in Frankfurt for the first AFRICA EUROPE WEEK.
