The German-African Business Association (Afrika-Verein) together with the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa invites you to the

Virtual Seminar on Doing Business in South Africa in Times of COVID-19 and Beyond
on the 24th of September 2020, from 10.00 – 11.30 am.

South Africa remains the most important business and investment destination for German companies in Sub-Saharan Africa. Also trade between the two countries has reached record levels in the past years. With COVID-19 hitting both economies hard, the question arises how this will affect trade and business relations in the future and how joint strategies can be developed to successfully continue on a path of cooperation and mutual win-win relationships.

This virtual seminar will therefore give an overview over the current situation around COVID-19 in South Africa and the response of the South African government to the outbreak. In addition, it will highlight concrete business opportunities in selected sectors in South Africa, explain how COVID-19 will affect doing business in these areas and showcase examples of German companies that have successfully done business in South Africa before and during COVID-19.

For more information please contact Peggy Schulz (E-Mail: schulz@afrikaverein.de;  Tel.: 030 2060719 77). The virtual seminar will be held in English.
